This review I am writing for the service department, I had an oil change service done on Oct 28th 2025, and its not even enough kilometers or due date and the oil warning came on at just 50% odo from the suggested date and that is not the first time happened before than when I had an oil service at the same shop, same thing happened,
When I am doing an oil change with different shops it has never happened.
When I brought that issue to them via email I got an email back from Assitant service manager who was giving me an assumption related with road and driving conditions, driving habits, towing etc and asking me if my vehicle is any issues, well if the vehicle has any issue it should do the same thing on every oil change not just an oil change done by your shop, which does not make sense to me at all.
That was my last oil change from that shop, definitely not visiting the shop at all.

Great place to buy a car. I dealt with Chris and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to buying a car. But honestly everyone there is great!

I have been taking my truck to Capital GMC since I bought it in 2011. I have had some good experiences in the past - thus a 2-star review. My latest experience not so and more like a zero star review.
Brought it in for brake gain issue and trailer assist not working as well as seasonal tire change over. Went to get it back on Friday. Had to go find the truck was way out in the West parking lot even though I was told it was right out front. Trailer assist was the same and I'm pretty sure was never even looked at. Tire sensos were not reset. I think the worst part is a I came back to the office to complain all I got was a bad attitude that made me feel like this was all my fault. On top of it, the manager said to me to bring my trailer back for a return service so they could fix/diagnose properly.
No way was I wasting another trip in, I live about 30 kms a way, and even more $$$ so they could do another poor job and charge me for it and then treat me like crap. Since this happened, I took it to another dealership that diagnosed it right over the phone and confirmed the wheel sensors were just fine. I won't be back to Capital GMC.

A+++ Customer Service. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Capital GMC Buick since buying my truck in 2021. Made a deal on a gmc sierra with $10,000 off at the end year sale for 3500hd gmc sierra 2025 that supposed to be delivered from Calgary. Signed all documents, got bill of sale and was waiting for the truck to come to Edmonton. However, just before the pick up day, the Salesman, Muzi, called and said that this truck was finalized at Calgary and they were not able to deliver it for us. We were very disappointed at first on how gmc could sell the truck that we already bought. We were about to abort the deal completely, but the dealership was working on solution and offered us couple days later the same kind of truck with better options (had sprayed bed liner that we didn'thad in the original deal) for the same price of the initial truck. 5 stars for customer care and finding a satisfactory solution for us! We are very happy with the new truck!
Tip: Be vigilant of how dealership financing can move the price off to other areas to look like they getting you a deal. For example the sale price is $80,000. The administration fees of $500. You asks for a deal of $78,000 and they will say yes to look like you getting a good deal. However, when you look at your bill of sale the sale price will be $78,000, however, administration fees suddenly will become $2,500. Just be vigilant and don't get fooled in order to really make the best deal!
